Yes, the sky will grow darker. The evenings will last longer. And maybe, we will be alright. We will tread through each night on the calendar one little box at a time. We will end each day having filled up that box with the fullness of color, light, life. We will look back and see that as the days grew shorter, our pauses grew longer and in the shadows of the night, flickers of light became stronger.
